York County firefighters are battling a house fire in Hollis.

Firefighters in Hollis, assisted by several other area departments, are fighting a fire at a home at 24 Mason Drive, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

The fire was reported at about 1 p.m. There was no word yet on injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

A fire call at about the same time at 578 Lebanon St. in Sanford turned out to be a false alarm.
