FREEPORT — Down by nine points heading to the fourth quarter, Freeport rallied behind the hot shooting of Jeremy Ketch for a 51-45 come-from-behind Western Maine Conference victory over Poland on Tuesday.
Ketch drained three 3-pointers in the final frame for all nine of his points as the Falcons (3-14) outscored the Knights (4-13) 21-6 down the stretch.
Chandler Birmingham led Freeport, which hosts Old Orchard Beach on Friday, with 18 points, including four 3-pointers, with Landon Easler chipping in 11.
Alan Young paced Poland, which led 14-12, 23-19 and 39- 30 at the quarter breaks, with 12 points, with CJ Martin adding 10.

The host Dragons ended a four-game slide, getting 19 points from Blake Gordon and 17 from Alex Bandouveres to improve to 9-8.
Brunswick, which hosts rival Mt. Ararat on Thursday, led 15-4, 37-15 and 54-29 at the quarter breaks.
Ryan Black chipped in 12 points and five assists, while Konnor Scarponi had five steals, four assists and four rebounds while guarding Erskine Academy leading scorer Devin Duncan, who finished with a team-high 11 points for the Eagles.
“Konnor did a real nice job taking Duncan out of the game,” said Brunswick coach Todd Hanson.
Brunswick finished 19 of 24 from the free-throw line, while Erskine Academy was five of seven.

The visiting Blue Devils jumped out to a 15-4 firstquarter lead and steadily pulled away from there for a KVAC win at Topsham.
Lewiston (12-5 and winners of nine straight) led 29-15 at the half and 47-25 through three quarters.
“Mt. Ararat turned the ball over 31 times, leading to numerous fast breaks for the Devils,” said Eagles coach Aaron Watson, whose squad fell to 7-10 and visits Brunswick on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Josh Thomas led a balanced Lewiston attack with 13 points, with Steven Patrie adding 10, William Curry nine, and Mohamed Mohamud and Donne Agossou seven each.
For Mt. Ararat, Shyheim Ulrickson and Mason Griffin led the way with 10 points apiece, with Tyler Roberts chipping in seven.

The visiting Class C Seagulls darted out to a 25-2 advantage and never looked back in a win over Class D Richmond, which closed its regular season with a 7-11 record.
The Bobcats, currently the No. 7 seed in Western Maine Class D, trailed 33-9 and 55-14 after the second and third quarters, respectively. Randy Moody had five points and Xavier Trask four for Richmond, which was two of five at the foul line.
Anthony Langella-Law had a game-high 15 points for Old Orchard Beach (13-4), while Joey Gildard added 13. The Seagulls were 18 of 22 at the charity stripe.

The host Phoenix used a 10- 0 second-quarter run to pull away for a victory over A.R. Gould of Long Creek in Class D play.
Ryan Cassidy was solid inside, scoring seven points for a game-high 19. Talin Rowe and Wilson MacMillan scored 15 of Hyde’s 25 secondquarter points as the Phoenix claimed a 42-23 at the half.
Warsame Mohamed added 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists for Hyde. Rowe added 10 points, four steals and four assists, while senior Ben Burlock had eight points, five caroms and three blocked shots and Chris Thomas had nine points.
