Bradbury Mountain Arts Keep Me Warm Concert and Art Series, Saturday, Feb. 9, Mallett Hall, 429 Hallowell Road, Pownal. Powell Point trek, in South Freeport on the Cousins River, Friday, Feb.15, noon-2 p.m. Meet at Powell Point trailhead, at end of the pavement on Lambert Road, one mile off South Freeport Road near Freeport YMCA. Bring snowshoes or boots with traction depending on conditions, and plan for a 1.5-mile round trip trek to a dramatic bluff over the lower Cousins River. Trek leaders are David Steckler, chairman of the land acquisition committee of the Royal River Conservation Trust, and Katrina Van Dusen, executive coordinator of the Freeport Conservation Trust.
