GRAY — An avid outdoorsman, Roger was born on January 11, 1946 in Newport, Rhode Island and passed away on January 28, 2013 in Portland, Maine. He was the son of Jeanne C. and James H. Haymon of Middletown, RI.
Roger served in the US Navy and graduated from the University of Rhode Island. He was a resident of Gray, Maine for 29 years and spent 35 years working in the seafood industry. At the time of his death, he was the coowner of C&R Trading Post in Brunswick, Maine.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty; his mother Jeanne and brothers Gordon and Dick Haymon; daughter Heather Plati and her husband Josh, daughter Sarah Foster and her husband Chris, son James Haymon and Colleen Whitten; as well as his four grandchildren.
There will be no funeral at his request.
