AUGUSTA (AP) — A federal judge has agreed to postpone a Feb. 5 court date for James Cameron, Maine’s former top drug prosecutor who fled the state after being convicted of child pornography charges.

The Kennebec Journal says U.S. District Judge John Woodcock Jr. filed the order Thursday agreeing to a delay in Cameron’s court date to address a criminal contempt charge related to his alleged escape. The 50-year-old Cameron, of Rome, will now be in court in Portland on Feb. 19.
