HARPSWELL — The Islands Community Church on Bailey Island has invited Gayle Hays as guest minister during the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday.
Hays will mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The church is non-denominational and based on the teachings of the Bible. The church is led by a board that invites ordained ministers, lay people and chaplains to celebrate the service. Outreach and community service are important aspects of the church mission. Communion is offered monthly on the first Sunday.
Also scheduled to preach this month is the Rev. Marc Boutan on Jan. 27.
