PORTLAND — The Environmental and Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech) is holding its first forum of the new year, “The Friendly Shark Tank: Financial Resources for Businesses and Entrepreneurs” on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the Wishcamper Center on the University of Southern Maine Portland campus.

The event focuses on Maine’s business-friendly finance guidance and resources for startups, established companies and entrepreneurs, and features: Bob Martin, president of the Maine Technology Institute; John Voltz, executive director, Blackstone Accelerates Growth; and Mike Finnegan, senior vice president of lending at Coastal Enterprises, Inc.

It runs from 7:15 to 8 a.m. with a networking breakfast and special meeting to elect the E2Tech board of directors, and 8 to 11 a.m. with presentations and breakout sessions.
