TOPSHAM — Mt. Ararat turned a 7-7 first-quarter deadlock into a 29-9 halftime lead en route to a 52-32 boys high school jayvee basketball victory over rival Brunswick on Friday.
The Eagles, who led 41-17 through three quarters, were paced by Harper Moutal’s 15 points, while Zach Garvey and Alex LaFountain chipped in nine points each. Max Bondmer was solid on the board.
Brunswick’s Alan Molnar had a team-high 11 points, with Evan Groat adding five.
Mt. Ararat is 5-0 and visits Cony on Thursday.
