BRUNSWICK — The Lewiston Middle School seventh grade basketball team darted out to a 16-6 firstquarter lead and held on from there for a 49-30 victory over Brunswick in recent boys action.
Brock Belanger led the Blue Demons with 17 points, followed by James Whitmore with eight.
Brunswick received nine points from Kyle Hanson and eight by Colby Buckman. The Huskies finished eight of 15 from the foul line, while Lewiston was 17 of 38.
Brunswick returns to action on Jan. 3 at home against Auburn.
