ALNA — Come join a Victorian Christmas celebration at the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, 97 Cross Road, on Saturday, Dec. 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free steam-train rides and horsedrawn sleigh/wagon rides (depending on snow); trains for the sleigh rides will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the last train departing from Sheepscot Station at 2 p.m. All trains will stop at Alna Center for passengers young and old to visit with Santa. Enjoy light refreshments and holiday decorations.
Directions: from Wiscasset Village take Route 218 north four miles to the Cross Road in Alna; take a left onto the Cross Road; Sheepscot Station is at the bottom of the hill on the right.
