HARPSWELL — The Maine Public Television Series “Incredible Maine” will air a half-hour show about Harpswell Community School’s Outdoor Classroom visit to the Chewonki Foundation.
The show will air on MPBN at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29.
The visit was part of a science and learning experience for Harpswell Community School fifth-graders, who camped at Chewonki along with their teachers.
According to a news release, Chewonki’s Outdoor Classroom programs offer students and teachers the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, ecology, team building and challenge with programs designed to enhance classroom curriculum and meet the specific needs of each group.
