FREEPORT — The Greater Freeport Community Chorus is busy preparing for its annual winter concert, “The Promise of Light.”
The 70 voices of the chorus come together from 14 communities to sing under the leadership of director Virgil Bozeman and musical accompanist Dorothy Cuprak.
The chorus will offer two performances: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at First Parish Church, 40 Main St., Freeport; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at Tuttle Road United Methodist Church, 52 Tuttle Road, Cumberland.
Tickets are $10; children under 12 free; maximum $25 per family, available at the door or in advance at Music and Moore at Cook’s Corner, Brunswick, or the Freeport Community Center Thrift Shop.
