TOPSHAM — Men and boys ages 12 and older are invited to attend the Strong Men’s Breakfast this Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Freedom Life Center on Route 201.

This event is being hosted by “Strong Men Ministry Global,” which is an alliance of ministries that are participating in the international men’s movement. A hearty hot breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. sharp and will be followed by the keynote speaker, John Eckhardt, president of Stauron University. Eckhardt will be speaking on the global men’s movement specifically highlighting the shifting that is taking place in the nation of Belize and how it is extending into other nations of the world.

“There is a global men’s movement unfolding today in our generation and we cannot afford to miss this opportunity,” he said. “The Strong Men Alliance is all about men cross-culturally working together to implement an effective wineskin to disciple the nations.”

The mission of Strong Men Ministry Global is “Challenging Men — Confronting Culture — Shifting Nations.” The ministry envisions a generation of men empowered to break the two-fold curse of fatherlessness and broken covenants. At this event men will be encouraged and equipped to personally grow in the areas of becoming committed husbands, connected fathers and sons, as well as becoming men of integrity in the marketplace.

The cost to attend is $5. This “Strong Men Breakfast” is a monthly event featuring varying speakers and topics. For more information call Lester Libby at 330-1588. The Freedom Life Center is located at 655 Augusta Road.
