About 35 Freeport Middle School students and faculty members took the plunge.

It may look like summertime off Freeport’s Winslow Park, but there was a definite chill in the air when students and staff of Freeport Middle School went for a quick “swim” on Nov. 24. The Turkey Plunge raised more than $1,500 for the school’s sports booster club.
