PORTLAND — The Maine Red Claws will look to continue an early season win streak this Friday as they tip off the home portion of their 2012-13 schedule.
The Red Claws are currently riding a two-game winning streak, picking up a pair of road wins this past weekend to open the season. The Red Claws will take on the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 7 p.m. Friday in a game that will mark the first of 24 games at the Portland Expo and the first-ever match-up between the Celtics and Lakers NBADL affiliates in Maine.
To mark the home opener, the Red Claws have dubbed the slogan, “Beat LA! Night” with the first 1,000 fans through the gate receiving “Beat LA!” T-shirts. The Red Claws will also be celebrating their newly strengthened partnership with the Boston Celtics by wearing Boston Celtics jerseys. Celtics legend Dave Cowens will be a special guest for the home opener, serving as honorary team captain.
Tickets for all 24 home games at the Portland Expo this season are now available, and individual ticket prices are available for $6, $10, $15, $20 and $30. Tickets for all Red Claws home games may be purchased by calling 210- 6655, in person at the Red Claws Team Store located at 413 Congress Street in Portland, or online at www.MaineRedClaws.com
