A $500 PeaceWorks Peace Studies scholarship is being offered toward a three-credithour University of Maine peace studies course that begins in spring 2013.
PeaceWorks, based in Brunswick, is offering the award. It describes itself as “a source of information and inspiration for all who believe in peace and justice.”
The Certificate in Peace and Reconciliation Studies is an 18-credit interdisciplinary curriculum with two required courses. Some courses are being offered online beginning in January.
