ROCKLAND
A marijuana caregiver from the Knox County town of Washington has sued the state challenging its right to impose fees without legislative approval.
A lawsuit was filed on John Stewart’s behalf in Knox County Superior Court asking for a judge to declare the state exceeded its authority in imposing fees.
The suit asks the court to block the state from enforcing its marijuana caregiver registration fees.
