Air Force Airman 1st Class Hedrick Y. Ramos recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Ramos is a 2006 graduate of Brunswick High School.

Marine Corps Pvt. Evan S. Goodwin and Pvt. Jonathan R. Back earned the title of United States Marine after both graduated from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S. C.

Goodwin — son of Stacey J. Trembley of Freeport and Earl S. Goodwin, of Lihue, Hawaii — is a 2012 graduate of Freeport High School.

Back is a 2010 graduate of Morse High School, Bath.

Navy Seaman Recruit Ariel E. Wing recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Wing is a 2012 graduate of Noble High School of North Berwick and daughter of Marilynn C. Wing, of Richmond.

Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Michael R. Bruni recently re-enlisted for five years while serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis. Bruni — a 1996 graduate of Morse High School, Bath — joined the Navy in January 2003.
