LEWISTON — Alex Kee of Bath led four players in double figures with 21 points as the University of Southern Maine overcame a 13-point first-half deficit to beat Bates College 71- 66 in a non-conference battle of undefeated men’s basketball teams Tuesday night in Alumni Gymnasium.
Kee also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists, while James Odneal added 18 points, 10 boards, two blocks and two steals for the Huskies (3-0).
On Saturday, Kee scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Huskies to an 87-48 win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle in the final game of the Star City Classic.
Kee was 7-for-12 from the field and 10-for-10 from the freethrow line. He added six rebounds and three steals.
