GARDINER — Gordon Bok, Maine’s icon of folk music, performs at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water St., tonight at 7:30 pm.
A master of guitar and voice, Gordon has an extensive repertoire, which provides a rich well to draw upon for his concerts, guaranteeing a unique experience everywhere he performs, a news release said.
The Camden-based singer and songwriter has toured throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. He has performed with many other artists, and toured and recorded with the trio Bok, Muir, and Trickett for 30 years; and with his wife, harpist and singer Carol Rohl.
Tickets are $20, Johnson Hall members are $18 and students up to age 22 are $8.
