FREEPORT — The annual community Thanksgiving service sponsored by the churches of Freeport will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Community of Christ, 49 Park St.
The guest preacher will be the Rev. Peter Heinrichs, pastor of First Parish Church Congregational. There will be opportunity during the service to speak words of thanksgiving to God for common or special blessings.
Canned food and other nonperishables may be brought for Freeport Community Services Food Bank. A cash offering will be accepted as well.
