SOUTH PORTLAND — Bull Moose will open its 11th retail store on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 219 Waterman Drive in the Mill Creek area of South Portland.
The store will occupy 11,000 square feet, making it the second largest Bull Moose. It will carry a large selection of new and used video games, movies, CDs, books and an assortment of inexpensive gifts and toys.
Plans for a weekend of events are in the works, starting Saturdaywitha3p.m. performance by Pete Witham & The Cozmik Zombies and Dark Follies.
Sunday, Nov. 18 will see Rob Schreiber’s Standard Issue with special guests from the South Portland High School Jazz Ensemble at 11 a.m. At 2 p.m., singer Don Campbell will perform songs from his new CD, “Kites to Fly: Celebrating the Music of Dan Fogelberg,” released just a few days prior on Nov. 13.
The store will be open from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily, and until 12:30 a.m. every Monday to sell Tuesday’s new releases.
Bull Moose was started in 1989 in Brunswick by then- Bowdoin College junior Brett Wickard.
