GORHAM — Route 237 in Gorham, known locally as the Sebago Lake Road, reopened Tuesday night after being closed for hours.
A dispatcher for the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the road closed Monday night after winds from superstorm Sandy blew down trees and wires making it unsafe to travel.
Route 237 remained closed until about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when it reopened to traffic.
