BRUNSWICK — CHANS Hospice Care Program invites anyone who has lost a loved one within the past year to attend an interfaith memorial service on Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St.
A Time for Remembering will honor hospice patients and community members who have died in the past year. This interfaith memorial service celebrates life and love through music, poetry, sacred text and a reading of the names of those who have died.
For this special service, families are invited to bring a framed photograph of their loved one to display in a place of honor for the duration of the celebration and to submit their loved ones name for reading during the service. Attendees are welcome to stay after the service for refreshments.
For more information, questions or to submit a name for reading, call Andy Sokoloff, CHANS Hospice care coordinator of bereavement services, at 721-1357.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
