The University of Maine men’s hockey team continues to search for its scoring touch, as well as its first home victory of the season.

St. Lawrence beat the Black Bears 5-0 Friday night at Alfond Arena before a crowd of 4,636.

Kyle Flanagan set up three of the St. Lawrence goals, scored by five different players.

Maine entered the game without a goal on 12 power-play opportunities this season. The Black Bears again failed to capitalize Friday night despite nine St. Lawrence penalties.

Maine (1-3) and St. Lawrence (2-1) meet again Saturday night at Alfond.
