Registration for Kittery Recreation basketball programs is under way. Programs include Pee Wee Basketball for ages 3 and 4, a K-2 program, and a program for kids in grades 3-8. Nordic skiing for midcoast youth and families will be offered by the Phippsburg Recreation Commission, Phippsburg Sportsmen’s Association and Maine Youth Sports Opportunities. There will be an after-school session Friday afternoons for both beginner and more experienced youth skiers, and a Saturday session for youths and families. Some loaner equipment will be available; nominal fees will be charged. There will be a session to fit skis, boots and poles in mid-December.
