GORHAM – Police arrested a Gorham man after the Friday night stabbing of a Windham man.
Bradford Lacy, 40, was arrested early Saturday on a charge of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon after being found hiding outside his home.
He was taken to Cumberland County Jail in Portland, with bail set at $15,000.
The victim, a 42-year-old Windham man, was treated by paramedics and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Alcohol may have been involved in the incident, police said.
Gorham officers found an unresponsive woman lying on the floor inside the residence where the incident reportedly occurred, and she was also taken to a local hospital. Both the stabbing victim and the woman had non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Gorham detectives executed a search warrant on the Maple Drive residence. Police said they have no reason to believe there is any danger to the public and they are not searching for other suspects at this time.
