HALLOWELL (AP) — A Maine couple says they don’t expect their lives to change much after winning more than $4 million in a state lottery.
Linda and Bob Von Oesen of Fairfield won about $4.1 million in a Tri-State Megabucks Plus lottery game two weeks ago. The lottery was valued at $8.2 million on an annuitized basis.
The Kennebec Journal says the Von Oesens told reporters at the Maine State Lottery office on Thursday that they’ll buy a new snow blower so their dog can get around their property this winter. But other than that, they weren’t planning any large purchases.
