HARPSWELL — The Islands Community Church has invited the Rev. Mair Honan to speak during the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday.
The nondenominational church is based on the teachings of the Bible and is led by a board who invite ordained ministers, lay people and chaplains to celebrate the service. Outreach and community service are important aspects of the church mission. Communion is offered monthly on the first Sunday.
Also scheduled to preach this month are the Rev. Katharine Babson on Oct. 21 and Cindy Baumgartner on Oct. 28.
