FREEPORT — The Rev. Ron Churchill will be the guest preacher at First Baptist Church on Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
Churchill is senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Sun City Center, Fla. He has been in ministry for 47 years, having preached in Texas, Georgia and Florida. He holds a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has led more than 150 revival services, has been a keynote speaker and general speaker for numerous conferences, and has led more than 500 conferences for single adults. In addition, he has taught seminary classes in theology and religious education.
His wife Cindy is the executive director of Steppin’ Stone Farm — a residential facility for at-risk teenage girls.
