BRUNSWICK – Chris Seitz headed home a goal in the 106th minute to give Williams a 3-2 double-overtime men’s soccer win over the Bowdoin on Sunday.
Zach Danssaert put Bowdoin (7-2-1, 3-2-1 NESCAC) ahead before Williams answered to make it 1-1 at the half.
The Ephs (7-0-2, 5-0-2) grabbed the lead early in the second half before Andrew Gray tied it for Bowdoin.
WESLEYAN 1, COLBY 0: Chris Kafina tapped a cross into the left corner in the first half, and the Cardinals (7-1-2, 5-1-1 NESCAC) shut out the Mules (3-5-2, 0-4-2) at Waterville.
Cody Funkhouser had four saves for Colby, which has not won a league match despite allowing just five goals in six games.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
WILLIAMS 1, BOWDOIN 0: Bridget Gallagher scored in the 15th minute to give the Ephs (7-2-1, 6-0-1 NESCAC) a victory over the Polar Bears (8-2, 4-2) at Brunswick.
MAINE 3, BINGHAMTON 1: Nikki Misener scored a pair of goals as the Black Bears (6-5-2, 2-2-1 America East) came away with a win over the Bearcats (6-7-1, 0-4-1) at Vestal, N.Y.
Camille Varin-Tremblay added a goal for Maine.
COLBY 2, WESLEYAN 0: Abby Hatch tallied in the first half and Kate Laxson added a second-half goal as the Mules (6-3, 3-3 NESCAC) blanked the Cardinals (4-5-1, 2-5) at Waterville.
Emily Brook posted the shutout for Colby, finishing with six saves.
FIELD HOCKEY
BOWDOIN 3, WILLIAMS 0: Brooke Phinney scored a pair of first-half goals to propel the Polar Bears (9-1, 5-1 NESCAC) to a win over the Ephs (5-5, 3-4) at Brunswick.
Adrienne O’Donnell added a goal for the sixth-ranked Polar Bears, and Kayla Lessard made four saves for the shutout.
WESLEYAN 4, COLBY 2: Taylor Wells had one goal and two assists to lead the Cardinals (5-4, 4-3 NESCAC) past the Mules (4-6, 0-6) at Waterville.
Misha Stage and Erin Maguire scored for Colby, while Michelle Burt recorded 13 saves.
