A Waterboro man was being brought to Maine Medical Center by ambulance after he impaled himself on a knife when he tripped while walking.

The man fell inside a home on Blueberry Road at about 11 a.m. Friday, according to York County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Matthew Baker.

The incident does not appear suspicious, but a deputy has been dispatched to make sure, Baker said.
