BATH — Grace Episcopal Church will offer a free preschool program on Fridays in October.
The church invites local preschoolers to enroll in a special four-week nursery school program that will include snacks, activities, Bible stories, music and play time, led by staff and adult volunteers at Grace.
With harvest time happening all around, and Thanksgiving around the corner, the program will focus on creation. “We’ll talk about plants and animals, and how God made us and loves us,” said the Rev. Michael Ambler, rector.
The purpose of the program is to offer a fun opportunity for little children to hear Bible stories and learn about God, while offering parents a little time off for other activities. The program will run from 9 to 11 a.m.
The program is free, but pre-registration is required. It is open to any child who is at least 3 years old (and not in diapers), and who is not yet in kindergarten. The program is limited to the first 12 children to enroll. For more information or to register, call Grace Church at 443-3792.
