TOPSHAM — Three attorneys with the Topsham-based law firm of McTeague Higbee were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2013 edition of “The Best Lawyers in America.”
Jeffrey Neil Young was named Portland “Lawyer of the Year” in the specialty of employment law. Young joined McTeague Higbee in 1988. His practice focuses on representing employees and unions in employment disputes, concentrating on age, sex, race and disability discrimination matters, as well as wage and hour disputes.
Young is a graduate of Brown University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Karen Bilodeau has been selected for the specialty area of workers’ compensation law, claimants. Bilodeau is a partner at McTeague Higbee. She practices workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, and medical negligence law.
She earned her B.A. from Bates College and her law degree from the University of Maine School of Law.
G. William Higbee has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the specialties of workers’ compensation, claimants and personal injury litigation, plaintiffs. Higbee is a partner at McTeague Higbee, having founded the firm in 1976. He practices personal injury and federal workers’ compensation law with a concentration in construction accidents, asbestos litigation, hearing loss and other occupational diseases.
Higbee earned his B.A. from DePauw University and his law degree from Washington University School of Law.
