ALTHOUGH foliage hasn’t completely “popped” yet, leaf peepers and fall visitors were traveling through Wiscasset over the weekend. As the line at Red’s Eats grew out into the roadway, traffic on Route 1 coming south over the Sheepscot River bridge from Edgecomb was at a standstill this past Sunday. Drivers are reminded to be observant throughout the area as visitors view foliage from roadsides.
