BATH — Regional School Unit 1 is implementing a new notification system in order to improve communication and community outreach.
This notification system, called SchoolMessenger, alerts parents and students to school cancellations, delays and emergencies, as well as upcoming events by phone, text message and email. SchoolMessenger is a California based company that provides notification services for emergency broadcasts, parental outreach and student attendance communications for K-12 Education.
In order to implement the service, RSU 1 is using a systemwide text message to confirm that contact information for parents and students is up to date.
