Margaret A. “Peg” Smith, 79, of Route 1, Portland Road in Saco and formerly of Old Orchard Beach, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. Abiding by her wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 in St. Margaret’s Church, corner of Saco Avenue and Old Orchard Street in Old Orchard Beach. Interment will be in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Those who desire may make memorial contributions to the Maine Cancer Foundation, 170 Route 1, Falmouth, ME 04105. Arrangements are by of the Old Orchard Beach Funeral Home, 36 Portland Ave., Old Orchard Beach. Condolences may be sent to oobfuneral@gmail.com.
