BRUNSWICK — Maine Prep is offering high school juniors a chance to prepare for the upcoming required PSAT. The free service, a proctored PSAT followed by a discussion as students correct their tests together, is planned Saturday, Oct. 13, at 9 a.m. at the Maine Prep offices, 22 Parker’s Way.
The teacher will be Jack Mahoney and class size is limited.
The free “dress rehearsal” is part of Maine Prep’s 10th anniversary celebration and also is a way for the company to thank the Greater Brunswick area for its support and patronage.
Maine Prep is also offering SAT prep group classes in Brunswick. Maine Prep teachers also work privately with high school students for the SAT, PSAT and ACT.
To reserve a space for the free PSAT or for SAT Classes, call Maine Prep at 798-5690 or visit www.maineprep.com.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
