SOMERVILLE, Mass. – Crysti Tsujiura of Scarborough assisted on a first-half goal and scored her fourth of the season in the 83rd minute to lead Colby to a 2-1 win over Tufts in a New England Small College Athletic Conference women’s soccer match Saturday.
The Mules (4-1, 2-1 NESCAC) took the lead in the 15th minute on a goal by Annie Papadellis off a pass from Tsujiura.
Kate Laxson sent a cross from the right corner to set up Tsujiura’s goal that made it 2-0.
MIDDLEBURY 1, BOWDOIN 0: Lucy Wagner scored on a shot from near the end line early in the second half as the Panthers (5-0, 3-0 NESCAC) beat the Polar Bears (4-1, 2-1) at Brunswick.
ST. JOSEPH’S 1, EMERSON 1: Megan Ford put home a shot with less than three minutes left in regulation to give St. Joseph’s (3-2-1, 0-2-1 GNAC) a draw against the Lions (4-1-2, 2-0-2) at Standish.
KEENE STATE 3, SOUTHERN MAINE 0: Beverly Cole had a goal and an assist for the Owls (3-5, 1-1 Little East) in a win over the Huskies (1-7, 0-2) at Gorham.
GORDON 2, UNE 0: The Fighting Scots (7-1, 2-0 Commonwealth Coast) collected two first-half goals to defeat the Nor’easters (3-6, 1-1) at Biddeford.

BOWDOIN 1, MIDDLEBURY 0: Andrew Gray scored on a rebound with 10:01 left, giving the Polar Bears (4-1, 1-1 NESCAC) a win over the Panthers (3-2, 1-2) at Middlebury, Vt.
COLBY 0, TUFTS 0: Corey Funkhouser made three saves as the Mules (0-2-2, 0-1-2 NESCAC) battled to a draw against Tufts (4-0-1, 2-0-1) at Somerville, Mass.
ST. JOSEPH’S 2, EMERSON 1: Zach Johnson’s goal with just under six minutes remaining gave the Monks (4-4-1, 2-2 GNAC) a win over the Lions (2-5, 0-2) at Standish.
Teddy Palmer also scored for St. Joseph’s.
KEENE STATE 2, SOUTHERN MAINE 1: Brian Swindell headed in a pass from Ian Ferguson 2:22 into overtime to give the Owls (6-2, 2-0 Little East) a win over the Huskies (1-7, 0-2) at Keene, N.H.
Preston Ingram tied the game for USM in the second half.
GORDON 5, UNE 0: Andrew Vandervoort scored four goals to power the Fighting Scots (2-5-1, 1-1 Commonwealth Coast) past the Nor’easters (3-5, 0-2) at Biddeford.

MIDDLEBURY 2, BOWDOIN 1: Katie Riley got the only goal for the Polar Bears (4-1, 1-1 NESCAC), who had an 18-game regular-season winning streak snapped by the Panthers (4-0, 3-0) at Middlebury, Vt.
NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE 3, ST. JOSEPH’S 2: Patricia Wright’s goal 5:31 into overtime lifted the Pilgrims (3-6, 2-1 NAC) over the Monks (5-2, 2-1) at Henniker, N.H.
St. Joseph’s erased a 2-0 deficit in the second half on goals by Rachelle Messuri and Amanda Celata.
KEENE STATE 6, SOUTHERN MAINE 0: Kalin Billert scored three goals as the Owls (4-4, 2-1 Little East) beat the Huskies (4-5, 1-2) at Keene, N.H.

BASEBALL
SOUTHERN MAINE C.C. SWEEPS NAVY PREP: Jason Weatherbee singled home Michael Calabrese in the seventh inning as the Seawolves (5-1-1) took a 6-5 victory in the first game of a doubleheader at South Portland.
SMCC completed the sweep with a 8-2 victory. Jordon Dorr drove home four runs, and Corey Mongiat struck out eight in a four-hitter.
