HARPSWELL — The Islands Community Church on Bailey Island has invited the Rev. Elizabeth Peterson to preach on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
The Rev. Nancy White is scheduled to preach on Sept. 30.
The ICC, a nondenominational church based on the teachings of the Bible, is led by a board who invite ordained ministers, lay people and chaplains to celebrate the service. Outreach and community service are important aspects of the church mission.
Communion is offered monthly on the first Sunday.
Children attend the beginning of the service and then during the school year, Sunday School is offered on the first and third Sundays of the month.
