TOPSHAM — The United Baptist Church on 1 Elm St. will host the annual Jitegemee School Building Project yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the construction of a 16-room primary school complex with grades 1-8 located in Buyuni, Tanzania. The school is currently under construction and is approximately 50 percent completed with money raised locally from cake sales, raffles, bottle drives, private donations and the annual yard sale.

All money from the yard sale goes directly to purchasing building materials and local construction labor in Tanzania.
