The Topsham Fire and Rescue Association will host a spaghetti supper on Sept. 29 and split the proceeds with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick.
The supper runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Topsham Fairground Exhibition Hall. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Joining spaghetti on the evening’s menu is salad, garlic bread and a tasty spread of desserts provided by the Topsham Fire and Rescue Auxiliary.
The Topsham Fire and Rescue Association is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support the fire and rescue department with non-budgeted items and provide support to its members.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick “is a community resource dedicated to supporting stable, enriching friendships between children and adult mentors,” according to its website, www.bbbsbathbrun.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
