Eddie Stewart and Randy Moody combined on all of Richmond’s scoring as the Bobcats improved to 5-1.
Moody opened the scoring, with Stewart picking up an assist to give Richmond a 1-0 halftime lead.
Stewart doubled the lead early in the second half and completed the scoring with 23 minutes remaining. Moody assisted on both second-half goals for the Bobcats, who visit Buckfield on Thursday.
Dustin Sullivan had seven stops for the shutout, while Scott James had 14 stops for 2-3 Vinalhaven. Playing well for Richmond were defensemen Marcus Blake and Xavier Trask, along with midfielders Brett Stillwell and Cameron Emmons.

At rainy Wiscasset, the unbeaten Saints (7-0) received four first-half goals from Tyler Furtado en route to a Mountain Valley Conference win over the 3-3-1 Wolverines, who visit Winthrop on Thursday at 4 p.m.
Rob Pallozzi had two goals and JT Rotolico added a goal for St. Dom’s.
In goal, Wiscasset’s Nate Mills had 12 stops, while Ben Sawyer had three saves for the Saints.

In KVAC action in Fairfield on Tuesday, Jason Tome scored two goals to lift the Eagles, who improved to 4-0-1 and are scheduled to visit Skowhegan on Saturday.
Mt. Ararat led 2-0 at the half as Tome converted a Nate Santeramo feed with 13:46 left, and Griffin Stockford scored unassisted with 7:34 remaining.
Chris Pepin scored at 9:47 of the second half and Stockford made it 4-0 just 13 seconds later.
Drew Boyce (assisted by Matt Saunders) scored for Lawrence (2-3-2) with 19:18 left, but Tom added his second goal six minutes later and Robbie Small chalked up the final goal with eight minutes left.
Mt. Ararat outshot the Bulldogs 23-7 and led in corner kicks 10-1, with goaltenders Gabe Pelletier and Jon Roux combining on four saves.
Brad King had 12 saves in the loss.
