SOUTH HIRAM – Josh Rounds scored from Hideaki Nakamura with 1:19 remaining in the second overtime Thursday to give Fryeburg Academy its first schoolboy soccer victory of the season, beating Sacopee Valley 1-0 in a Western Maine Conference game.
Paul Dostie made eight saves to record the shutout for Fryeburg (1-2-1). Michael Pingree also finished with eight saves for the Hawks (0-3).
WAYNFLETE 5, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Mohamed Suja assisted on two goals and scored another to lead the Flyers (3-0) over the Panthers (2-2-1) at Yarmouth.
Clancy Mitchell added a goal and an assist. Taul Runyambo, Max Belleau and Peter Miner also scored.
Zander Majercik made five saves for his third shutout of the season.
OCEANSIDE 1, MORSE 0: Lars Feverlein scored on a volley from 18 yards after 5:31 and the Mariners (2-2) held off the Shipbuilders (0-5) at Rockland.
Ben Caron made four saves to record the shutout. Duane Tardif stopped 11 shots for Morse.
GORHAM 5, PORTLAND 1: Connor Reagan scored twice as the Rams (3-0-1) broke a 1-1 tie to pull away from the Bulldogs (1-1) at Gorham.
Austin Bell, Cody Elliot and Milan Vidovic also scored.
Hugues Eakunda scored and Chip Webber made eight saves for Portland.
MARSHWOOD 7, WESTBROOK 0: Alex McLean and Max McCoomb scored two goals each as the Hawks (3-2) beat the Blue Blazes (0-4) at Westbrook.
Devon Gilbert, Drew Hale and Matt Brenner also scored.
Brenner and Kyle Rowe combined to make six saves for Marshwood.
DEERING 2, NOBLE 1: The Rams (1-2-1) built a 2-0 halftime lead on goals by Ben Peterson and Billy Farrell, and held off the Knights (3-2) at North Berwick.
Abdi Hassan and Stephen Ochan collected one assist apiece for Deering.
Jake Emard scored for Noble from Josh Emard with 12:30 left.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, FREEPORT 0: Jack Martell, Jake Street, Tyler St. Pierre and Josh Kane scored for the Patriots (3-1-1) against the Falcons (1-3-1) at Gray.
Nick Rogers of Gray-New Gloucester and Connor Dietrich of Freeport finished with nine saves each.
GREELY 4, POLAND 0: Nick Shain scored one goal and assisted on another to lead the Rangers (3-1) over the Knights (0-3-1) at Cumberland.
Jacob Nason, Ben Ingraham and Ben Giffard added one goal apiece for Greely, which led 2-0 at halftime.
KENNEBUNK 4, MASSABESIC 1: Ryan Keefe scored two goals just 40 seconds apart late in the first half as the Rams (4-1) downed the Mustangs (1-3-1) at Waterboro.
After Griffin Drigotas opened the scoring for Kennebunk midway through the first half, Robby Burns made it 2-0 with eight minutes left in the half.
David Gerard scored for Massabesic midway through the second half.
TRAIP ACADEMY 3, WELLS 1: Ralph Humiston had two goals and Miguel Herrera also scored as the Rangers (3-1) downed the Warriors (1-4) at Wells.
Dan Quint scored and Tyler Lamb finished with 14 saves for Wells.
OAK HILL 2, WISCASSET 1: Trevor Samson had a goal and an assist as the Raiders (1-3-1) beat the Coyotes (2-2-1) at Wales.
MARANACOOK 3, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Alex Tooth and Matt Dubois scored to lead the Black Bears (3-0) over the Eagles (3-2) at Readfield.
PINE TREE ACADEMY 4, RANGELEY 2: Andrew Goorhuis scored twice as Pine Tree Academy won at Rangeley.
Bosong Gon and Chris Wilday also scored for Pine Tree. Joe Reed had an assist.
WINDHAM 6, THORNTON ACADEMY 1: Marc Reynolds and Jacopo Secchi scored twice as the Eagles (3-1) rolled past the Trojans (3-2) at Windham.
Spencer Hodge and Christian Hewitt also scored. Darius Nytacyo got a second-half goal for Thornton.
YARMOUTH 1, YORK 0: Ben Vigue scored his first varsity goal off a rebound in the second half to give the Clippers (3-0-1) a win over the Wildcats (2-1-1) at York.
Andrew Fochler made three saves to record the shutout. Connor Smith stopped five shots for York.
