TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School jayvee boys soccer team blanked Brunswick 1-0 on Friday.
Stefan Peters scored the game-winning goal with five minutes left.
Playing well for the 2-1 Eagles (scheduled to host Edward Little on Thursday) were Alex Halliday, Devon Drew, Alex Sharpe, Kenny Stimpson and Ben Bishop.
Jon Roux (six saves) and Mason Griffin (five stops) manned the nets for the hosts.
In the Brunswick effort, Matt Brooks, Dalton Favreau, Zach Hamm and Devin Schinhofen played well, and goaltender Evan Murray had four saves.
