A Topsham man was taken to the hospital for neck pain after the vehicle he was driving was hit from behind while stopped at a red light on Main Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Bolaji Odunlami, 37, driving a 2002 Ford passenger van with four passengers, had stopped at the red light on Main Street at the intersection of Route 196 when he was rear-ended by a 1996 GMC pickup truck driven by 16-year-old juvenile from Lewiston, according to Police Chief Christopher Lewis.
The crash was reported to police at 2:44 p.m. Lewis said the juvenile was issued a summons for operating with inadequate brakes.
Odunlami was transported to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick for neck pain.
