Brunswick police arrested a Brunswick man on Tuesday night after he allegedly held a knife to a woman and threatened to kill her.
Deputy Chief Marc Hagan said a 41-year-old Brunswick woman reported to police Tuesday that on Friday at a residence on Pleasant Street, James M. Kempf, 37, “held a knife to her and kept telling her he was going to kill her.”
Police arrested Kempf on Tuesday at 8:32 p.m. on Pleasant Street and charged him with domestic violence assault and domestic violence terrorizing. He was transported to Cumberland County Jail and given a Portland Superior Court date of Nov. 20, according to officials.
