AUBURN — eWaste Recycling Solutions, LLC recently announced the hiring of Al Ahlers as its environmental compliance manager and Leo Amaral as operations manager.
According to a news release, Ahlers is in charge of implementing and executing ERS’s environmental management system. He previously held compliance and engineering positions at firms like Fairchild and ABB.
Amaral oversees ERS’s transportation, warehouse and recycling operations. He spent the last several years working in production and management capacities for MB Bark and the Jolly Gardener.
“We have seen our production work force double over the last year with the expansion into CRT processing,” said William “Rick” Dumas, CEO of ERS. “Al and Leo are key players in our commitment to grow our business while maintaining the highest possible environmental and employee safety standards.”
ERS is a leading consolidator participating in Maine’s innovative Extended Producer Responsibility Program for ewaste recycling and the only organization in the state approved to process recycled electronics.
