POWNAL– The Pownal Elementary School Parent/Teacher Organization will be hosting its annual lobster bake in front of the school on Saturday, Sept. 15.

The traditional lobster bake is one of the most popular fundraisers offered by the PTO throughout the year, with food and games for children organized on the lawn.

This event is hosted by IMPACT, the Pownal Elementary School parent/teacher organization whose purpose is to promote educational opportunities for Pownal School children.

Serving will begin at approximately 1 p.m. as the lobster bake is uncovered.

Tickets are $20 per person and include one lobster, clams, corn on the cob, potatoes, salad and blueberry cake. Children eat free with no lobster.

Tickets will be on sale at Short Stop and Edna and Lucy’s beginning in late August and at Pownal Elementary School. Advance purchase is appreciated, but not required.
