FREEPORT — The Maine Innkeepers Association (MEIA) has partnered with Sprague Operating Resources LLC to introduce a discounted natural gas program to MEIA members, MEIA Executive Director Greg Dugal recently announced.
Sprague announced the same discount will also be extended to members of the Maine Restaurant Association.
Sprague has more than 20 years of natural gas experience in New England and the Northeast, and more than 4,000 commercial customer accounts.
“We are excited about the chance for our members to work with Sprague,” Dugal said in a news release. “It will provide them an opportunity to lock in historic low prices for a long period of time, providing budget certainty and also guaranteed low energy rates.”
Sprague has committed to provide the allied members with a no-obligation savings analysis based on their usage patterns and energy requirements.
“Working with the two Maine associations is a great way to help a number of businesses better understand their natural gas options and the chance to lock in long-term fixed or variable rates, which is typically not offered by the utilities,” said Michael Bartlett of Sprague.
